BATTS Table Tennis Club
Membership and Playing Fees
(effective 1st September 2021: entry throughout the year charged on a pro-rata basis)
There are three ways you can pay to play table tennis at BATTS at the Norman Booth Recreation Centre:

Complete Membership

Pay-as-you-go/Guest Fees.

Complete Membership
BATTS club sessions a part of membership as well as whenever there is available time
BATTS Super Singles Championship a part of membership (an admin fee may apply).
Harlow Table Tennis League a part of membership.
Discounts for club-sponsored camps and other events.
All the club privileges and priorities.
No table charge for private coaching.
Juniors*:
£75 per annum
or £7 per month**
Adults: £170
per annum or £18 per month**
Associate Membership
Designed for those players who have a close connection with the club and its members but who may not play with us on a regular basis.
BATTS Super Singles Championship a part of membership (an admin fee may apply).
Harlow Table Tennis League a part of membership.
Will be included in the Complete Member's mailing list to receive news, updates and priority notifications from BATTS.
Discounts for club-sponsored camps and other events.
No table charge for private coaching.
Juniors*:
£25 per annum
or £3 per month**
Adults: £50
per annum or £5 per month**
*Junior description: anyone that is under 19, or under 23 in full-time education.
**All monthly membership payments should be made via standing order and is subject to 'fair usage': the standing order should be paid consecutively for a reasonable number of months. Abusers of 'fair usage' will be requested to either pay annual or guest fees before they are allowed to practice at the centre.
Pay as You Go/Guest fees
Peak Times (evening sessions and special openings – on request)
Adults: £10 per session
Juniors and Students: £5 per session
Tuesday and Thursday Afternoon (Over 55’s Active Retirement Programme, social doubles, and Bat-n-Chat)
£5 per person (including tea/coffee and biscuits)
Coaching table charge for non-club members (with a club coach): £5 per session.
Not applicable as part of a group training session or when the full guest fee has been paid.
These fees should be paid before the start of the session via BACS or card.

All Club Members must also have Table Tennis England membership which also entitles you to a number of benefits and discounts. The details of Table Tennis England membership can be seen on their website.
